Pour continuer la saga du Blaireau Pimpant, je conseille à  ceux qui voudrait tetsté la beta d'avoir de bande passante: plus d'une dizaine de mise à  jour hier, et 78 qui viennent de tomber cette nuit. :shock;

Il y a comme qui dirait de la réactivité aux rapport de bugs, les dev sont bien courageux

J'ai eu il y a quelques jour un mail de Mark Shuttleworth annonçant le nom de la prochaine version d'Ubuntu.

La version 6.04 qui sortira donc en avril 2006 s'appelera "Dapper Drake" et aura pour objectif de venir concurencer Vista sur son propre terrain.

J'en profite aussi pour dire que le cycle de support d'Ubuntu est allongé à  partir de la version 5.10:
- 3 ans de support pour la version "bureautique"
- 5 ans de support pour la version "serveur"

Ceci dans le but de mieux cadrer avec les besoin des utilisateur professionel qui ne mettent pas à  jour souvent les systèmes.

La version 5.10 vienst d'être anoncéer au stade Release Candidat

Elle est là  !!!! Comme prévu, Ubuntu 5.10 sort aujourd'hui Jeudi 13 Octobre ;-)

Donc ce Week-End, installation avec préparation d'un Guide spécial Tontons ! Au menu: j'essayerais de voir:
- l'installation du système avec les nouveautés et des screenshots !
- la configuration de Synaptic
- les drivers nVidia, overclocking des cartes nVidia Geforce 3/4/5/6/7 avec nvclock
- l'installation de UT2004 (version DVD)
- l'installation de wine et peut être bien aussi cedega
- l'installation de Call Of Duty
- l'installation d'un serveur Battlefield 2 et d'un serveur Call Of Duty

Le tout dans un topic dédié, des configurations types, des screenshots, ...

Peut-être aussi un FTP et un LTSP mais c'est nettement plus technique et ça risque de ne pas intéresser grand monde.

pour BF² jz propose que l'on attende la mouture 1.03 du serveur qui n'est pas hyper distribuée ... à  moins que je ne me trompe .....
Faut pas prendre les cons pour des gens !!!

Un Conseil => passer par Bittorrent beaucoup plus rapide que les FTP quasi saturés !

Par exemple j'ai fini Ubuntu (617Mo) en 1h14et Kubuntu (640 Mo) en 2h14en torrent en les lassant en même temps ;-)

Installation en 45 min, driver nvidia compris, d'une station bureautique/multimedia complète ^^
